Nice to meet you! My name is Elizabeth and I am a photographer in Lehigh Valley, PA specializing in weddings, portraits and lifestyle sessions. I founded Elizabeth Kate (or EK) Photography with the goal of capturing photographs for couples and families who value authentic and emotional photographic memories.

Hey there!

Get to know me!

Starting as a fresh college graduate pursuing teaching, my journey took an unexpected turn towards photography. Captivated by my boys' growth, I began capturing life's moments in 2016. This passion evolved into a full-time photography career, intertwining love, emotion, and family bonds. Yet, my educator's heart remained. Today, I blend my photographic artistry with teaching, offering an enriched, diverse learning experience. Capturing love, emotion, and connection between families and couples brings me immense joy.

 

We chose Elizabeth for our wedding photographer because she was passionate about sharing important moments as a story. As we look back on our engagement, wedding, maternity, and newborn photos, we truly believe that she did exactly that! The memories are captured perfectly, honestly, and beautifully.

Hi, friends! It’s the day before Valentine’s Day and a snow day which means it’s the perfect time to write this blog. Back in December I wrote a year in review as I usually do. A while back a new client let me know she had been using the same photographer for almost ten years and was hiring me for the first time for her family’s holiday photo mini session. She had a bunch of really excellent questions about how I run my minis because she knew all photographers have their own twist on mini sessions. I thought her questions were so good I decided to make a set of FAQs specific to mini sessions. Hello, friends! December already? I can’t believe how quickly 2023 flew by. I think I say this every year, but this year has been quite a year. I’ve been thinking on this blog for the last month or so and every time I do, the same familiar lyric from a popular wedding song comes to mind to describe 2023. In Rascal Flatts’ song “My Wish,” he sings “And if one door opens to another door closed, I hope you keep on walkin’ till you find the window.” This year has been the year of lots of closed doors and constant dedication to keep walking to find an open window.
