Hello, newly engaged couple! Congratulations on your engagement! This is truly one of the most exciting times in your life. I hope you’re taking a few moments to soak it all in amidst the flurry of activity involved with planning your big day. Perhaps you’ve chosen a date or maybe you’ve even selected your venue. Now it’s time to hire a photographer to capture your special day in images that you’ll cherish for your lifetime. Another year has flown by in what feels like the blink of an eye. Maybe it’s because this was my first year as an “official” business, or maybe it’s because the kids are a year older and just as, if not busier than last year, or maybe it’s just that time seemingly speeds up with each passing day.

Choosing outfits on the daily can be a hassle. Deciding what to wear for your photo session, especially if you are coordinating outfits for a family, can be downright daunting! No one understands this challenge better than me.

Though we live in a digital age, there is so much value and importance in printed images. Children love to see photos of themselves around the house (there have been studies done that prove this is beneficial to their development), grandma loves having a new photo to proudly display in her kitchen, and fond memories come flooding back to couples when they see their wedding picture in their living room.

Samantha and Scott had the most perfect backyard wedding where they exchanged vows in the company of their closest friends and family. While I do love all of the fun and craziness that comes with large wedding celebrations there is something to be said about a smaller, laidback, and intimate wedding day.

Though our daily lives have recently been consumed with pumpkin patches, Halloween costumes, and candy corn, don’t be deceived — before you know it, visions of sugar plums will dance in our heads. It might be autumn, but soon the flurries will fall and the jingle bells will be tinkling here in the Lehigh Valley!

Let’s get real with our talk today. Who has ever dreamt of having the most beautiful family photos only to begin stressing the moment you book the session? This girl right here has!! Yes, that’s right, a professional photographer, mom, and former teacher stresses about getting family photos taken….and for good reason.

Ah, autumn! While I will miss all the fun that summer brings, fall is my favorite season— the changing landscape filled with beautiful, earthy tones makes for the perfect backdrop for a photoshoot!

Congratulations to the Class of 2022, you made it! The time has come and you're approaching such a big milestone in your academic career. Whether you are graduating from high school or college, this is a time to celebrate all your hard work and accomplishments. Your achievements deserve to be preserved in beautiful photos that you can look back on throughout your lifetime.

One of the reasons I became a photographer was to help capture memories for people during happy and exciting times in their lives; Joanel and Cory's wedding last month is certainly a prime example of why I chose to transition into this career! It was so much fun getting to capture their special day and getting to know them as a couple.
