Celebrating Aubry & Jonah at The Grove of Kempton

Aubry and Jonah’s wedding at The Grove of Kempton was  the perfect end to my 2023 wedding season with EK Photography. As a fellow teacher, I felt an immediate connection to Aubry, which made capturing their special day even more meaningful (our shared profession is a bond that runs deep among educators - if you know you know!). Their celebration was full of so many personal touches that made the day so unique and memorable; from the moment Aubry stepped out in her stunning gown from Kathy's Bridal, to the heartfelt vows exchanged, every detail reflected their personal journey together.

Aubry and Jonah had already been on their journey as husband and wife, having tied the knot in a quiet ceremony earlier in the summer. Their decision to share this joy in a grand celebration with family and friends during the early winter added a unique charm to the occasion, making it all the more special for everyone involved.

The venue, The Grove, owned by a warm couple, and their two beautiful weimaraners, welcomed guests into a space transformed by the love and creativity of Aubry's mom and her friend Sue, who meticulously crafted all the decorations, adding a personal and heartfelt touch to the venue's natural charm. The ceremony was followed by a lively reception, where Skuba Entertainment kept the guests dancing and celebrating.

As the night unfolded, the familial warmth was undeniable. Jonah's mom, Traci, showcased her love through the homemade cake and desserts, weaving family tradition and homemade affection into the fabric of the celebration. Their two dogs, integral to their engagement and depicted in the wedding favors and table decorations, underscored the couple's journey and the importance of family—both human and furry. And of course, I have to mention Aubry's amazing late-night outfit change into a short white dress paired with Converse.

Aubry and Jonah's wedding was truly a celebration that brought together the efforts and talents of their closest family and friends, making it a day to remember for everyone involved. It was a testament to the beauty that comes from combining professional expertise with the personal touch of loved ones, creating a wedding that was as beautiful and unique as the love story it celebrated.

Shout out to these vendors who helped make the day so amazing!
