A Rustic Fall Wedding in the Lehigh Valley
As a Lehigh Valley wedding photographer, I've been a part of many joyous celebrations, but this particular wedding was close to my heart. Having known the bride, Simone, since my early teaching days in Pennsylvania nearly a decade ago, it was an honor to capture her journey from the engagement to this beautiful day. I previously photographed her brother's wedding, creating a deep, personal connection with their family.
Simone and Derod’s wedding day was a perfect blend of love, joy, and unique personal touches that reflected their personalities. Simone was a bright light throughout the event, radiating positive energy. The presence of fellow teachers, long-time colleagues for many of us, added a sense of community to the festivities. One of the most memorable aspects was the groom's love for Power Rangers shown by the groomsmen gifts which created a fun and vibrant morning for the groom and groomsmen getting ready photos.
Simone and Derod’s choice of venue, Catalpa Grove at Lakewood Park, couldn't have been more fitting. The rustic charm of the venue, combined with the autumnal setting, provided a picturesque backdrop for their special day.
The wedding was a beautiful collaboration of various vendors who brought their vision to life. From the elegant hair styling by Makeup By Roxy and B. Shanice Hair Studio and Spa to the chic attire from Men’s Warehouse and Bella Bridesmaids Allentown, every detail was meticulously planned. The bridal gown from Bridals by Sandra, designed by Casablanca Bridal, was a showstopper.
Gruvin Enterprises set the mood with their music, while Modern Fusion Catering delighted everyone with exquisite dishes. The floral arrangements from Etsy and Ling Moments added a touch of nature's beauty. Cupcake Creations by Mike Quickel provided a sweet ending to the meal and All Set Creations captured every moment on video, ensuring that the memories of this day would last a lifetime.
Simone and Derod’s wedding was a true testament to the couple’s love and the bond they share with their friends and family. As a photographer, capturing the essence of their day was not just a job, but a privilege, allowing me to be a part of their beautiful story.
